Really, WHY, because he was a good Catholic and a VERY tolerant man?
He pushed for religious toleration in a time where he couldn't openly practice his own faith.
Maybe the pigeons should have you and YOURS. Really, were you raised by bigots or something?
Maybe open your mind and read what historians are finally revealing about him.
