By contrast with his predecessor whom I despise, Albert is quite probably my favorite monarch of the last century.
Yes Albert was a truly great King and a good man.
A great man. I have pictures of him, along with Queen Elisabeth and the Crown Prince, visiting Toledo after the war.
I love King Albert I. But I must say, he looks quite sombre in that bust.
