Wow, I didn't realize the queen was such a tiny person! I've also never seen that particular picture of her as a small child. Where do you find this stuff?
I hadn't realized she was that size either. From the accounts of people I know who have met her, she gives the impression of being larger than life. Philip de Laszlo was, quite possibly, the best portrait artist of the 20th century. I find most of it on Wikimedia Commons.
