  2. Just a very small point. The term "Prince" has a very different meaning in Russia than that within most western monarchies. In Russia it is considered the highest rank of nobility, not royalty. The issue of reigning monarchs in Russia were styled Grand Duke/Duchess unless they were the first born son and heir apparent; in which case they were styled "Czarevitch." This term is roughly analogous to that of "Dauphin" in France under the ancien regime
